Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a part-time Healthcare Security Professional for hospital protection in Chattanooga, TN. You will monitor, patrol, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while maintaining safety and policy compliance.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, at least 1 year of security experience, and the ability to work in hospital environments, including morgue scenarios.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required per law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of healthcare facility grounds and entrances to identify hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management following site procedures.
• Document and report incidents and policy concerns to site contacts and leadership.
