Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, seeks a Security Officer I to provide professional security services, deter crime and protect patients, staff, and visitors. You will perform risk assessments, complete accurate incident reports, operate security radios and monitor surveillance as part of a dedicated team.

This role requires resilience, teamwork and strong customer service skills, with potential for 12‑hour day and night shifts in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience in customer service, security or military roles is essential.
• Strong communication, decision making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Patrol Mayo Clinic property to deter crime and ensure safety.
• Respond to security incidents and prepare incident reports.
• Assist with emergencies; coordinate with Facilities, law enforcement and EMS.
• Operate two‑way radio and available security systems.
