Job summary

Virtua Health is hiring a security professional for the Lourdes Health System location in the United States. This on-site, part-time, 2nd-shift role involves protecting lives and property, assisting staff and visitors, and responding to emergencies with a calm, professional approach.

Responsibilities include post security, weapon screening, access control, incident reporting, and coordination with law enforcement when needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years security experience preferred.
• Ability to stay levelheaded and respond quickly in stressful situations.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.
• HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform patrols and security rounds to safeguard buildings and property.
• Assist visitors, patients, vendors, and staff with directions and access control.
• Operate weapon screening equipment and conduct weapon screening.
• Respond to emergencies and escalate to law enforcement as needed.
• Complete incident reports and shift logs; ensure ID badges are worn.
• Monitor alarms and cameras and coordinate with Health System security teams.
