Job summary

Virtua Health in Mount Holly is seeking a part-time Security Officer for the 2nd shift to safeguard buildings and grounds, respond to emergencies, and assist visitors and staff with a positive experience.

The role requires a minimum of security experience, valid driver’s license, CPR/SORA certification preferred, and offers an hourly wage of $18.69–$26.01 with benefits. About 24 hours weekly on-site work.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years in security experience preferred.
• Must be mechanically inclined and familiar with the use of small hand tools.
• Clear communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Perform duties associated with posts, including walking and security rounds.
• Monitor doors, surveillance cameras, and alarms for Virtua.
• Provide visitor control, data input/out, investigations, and shift logs.
• Communicate effectively with division teams, supervisors, and law enforcement.
• Escort visitors, vendors, patients and staff as needed.
• Submit written reports of incidents and maintain system checks.
