Job summary

Virtua Health in Camden, NJ seeks a part-time security officer for the 2nd shift. You will safeguard, patrol, and monitor buildings and grounds, provide excellent customer service and assist visitors, patients, vendors, and staff.

Role includes weapon screening with handheld wand devices, access control, incident reporting, and coordination with law enforcement when needed. Must maintain ID badges and escort as required.

Qualifications

• 2 years security experience preferred.
• Ability to stay levelheaded and respond quickly in stressful situations.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties associated with all assigned posts, including walking and mobile security and safety rounds.
• Utilize health system technology for visitor control, access and data input; conduct weapon screening with handheld wands and EVOLV system; compile investigations, incident reports and shift logs.
