Virtua Health is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard facilities and respond to emergencies at Burlington Hospital. The role involves monitoring entrances, assisting visitors, and maintaining safety across post assignments during the 2nd shift.

The position requires a HS diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license, with NJ SORA certification preferred. Pay ranges from $18.69 to $26.01 per hour, with comprehensive benefits for eligible staff.

Qualificações

• 2 years security experience preferred.
• Ability to stay levelheaded and respond quickly in stressful situations.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required; must be at least 21 years of age and meet insurance requirements.
• NJ Security Officers Registration Act (SORA) certified preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Safeguard, patrol, and monitor buildings, grounds, and property for the purpose of protecting lives and property; respond to incidents and emergencies.
• Assist visitors, patients, vendors, and staff with information and directions and provide a positive experience.
• Conduct weapon screening at public entrances using approved technology and monitor related systems.
• Escalate emergencies to law enforcement as needed and coordinate with Nursing Supervisor and security teams.
• Maintain post security through rounds, access control, and incident reporting.
