Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Security Officer - Hospital Access in Smyrna, TN. You will patrol hospital areas, monitor access, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions, and vaccination guidelines must be met.

The role offers flexible scheduling with day and evening shifts (Sat and Sun). You will work in a healthcare environment, supporting sensitive areas while maintaining a visible security

Qualifications

• Two years of security experience required.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals as needed in hospital setting.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility areas and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management and directing individuals.
• Document incidents and communicate with site leadership and responders.
