Pay Rate: $20.20 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned healthcare facility areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, assisting with access control and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Document incidents, observations, and completed activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals as needed in a hospital setting.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
