Job summary

Miami Jewish Health is seeking a Scheduling & Staffing Coordinator to ensure adequate staffing across nursing units and coordinate with Nurse Managers & Supervisors. The role involves managing KRONOS schedules, tracking private duty aides, and coordinating with part-time and per diem nurse pools, as well as agency nurses as needed.

Responsibilities include preparing staffing plans, maintaining timekeeping records, and providing KRONOS reports to leadership to optimize staffing efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience utilizing scheduling software in a healthcare/patient care environment.
• Prior experience in a nursing home setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares schedules for assigned units to meet daily staffing requirements based on patient care needs and census.
• Develops, modifies, and distributes individual schedules to employees while maintaining a record in time keeping system.
• Maintains time and attendance records for each employee.
• Schedules resident internal and external appointments through the Ambulatory Health Center.
• Coordinates registering of private duty attendants in the facility.
