Job summary

Senior Health Care Facility in Salisbury, MA is seeking a dependable Scheduler / Central Supply Clerk to join our team. This full-time role supports staff with staffing and supply chain tasks to help deliver quality patient care in a stable work environment.

You will build staff schedules, manage call-outs and shift changes, track time-off, and maintain accurate records while stocking and distributing medical supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in scheduling, inventory, or supply chain preferred; healthcare experience a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Comfortable with computers, spreadsheets, and scheduling software.
• Clear, friendly communicator who works well with a variety of people.
• Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs and be on your feet as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain staff schedules to ensure proper coverage across all shifts.
• Handle call-outs, shift changes, and last-minute staffing needs.
• Track time-off requests and maintain accurate staffing records.
• Communicate schedule updates clearly with staff and department leaders.
• Order, receive, stock, and distribute medical and general supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular counts.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and well-labeled supply area.
• Work with vendors on orders, deliveries, and pricing.
• Track supply usage and help control costs.
