Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks a dedicated Environmental Services worker to complete standardized cleaning in patient rooms, offices, departments, and other areas using approved procedures. You will clean patient rooms daily, assist with discharge cleaning, cycle cleaning, and maintain cleanliness across hospital spaces to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Basic reading, writing and effective communication skills.
• Ability to operate power equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs timely patient room cleaning and supports the departments to ensure continuity of patient care and daily operations.
• Cleans daily in all areas including discharge cleaning, patient rooms, cycle cleaning, offices and all ancillary areas.
• Exterior cleaning of assigned building and refilling of dispensers; collection of receptacles.
• Adheres to hospital safety standards in the use of chemicals, equipment and machinery and clearly marking hazardous areas.
• Adheres to hospital policies and regulatory requirements; performs other duties as assigned.
