Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a dedicated cleaner to perform standardized cleaning in patient rooms, offices, and other areas, following established procedures and safety guidelines.

You will carry out tasks including dusting, sanitizing, bathroom cleaning, waste removal, floor care, and stocking supplies, while maintaining a professional image and adhering to HIPAA and infection control policies.

Qualifications

• FIT testing may be required, but provided upon hire as needed.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Basic reading, writing and effective communication skills.
• Ability to operate power equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper cleaning procedures in all assigned areas.
• Perform trash/soiled linen pickup, stocking supplies, maintain par stock.
• Return equipment to proper location after cleaning and manage storage areas.
• Adheres to corporate citizenship standards and participates in training and performance improvement.
• Complies with safety and infection control policies and practices including PPE and emergency procedures.
