Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Sr. Software Solutions Executive to drive nationwide revenue growth for Optum's SaaS portfolio.

The role focuses on new-logo acquisition across the United States, building executive-level relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align solutions with client challenges. You will work remotely from anywhere in the U.S., with in-office requirements in select markets.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of business development, consultative sales, account management, or related sales experience.
• Experience managing complex sales cycles and engaging executive-level decision-makers and other organizational stakeholders.
• Healthcare industry sales experience, including experience selling healthcare technology, software-as-a-service (SaaS), revenue cycle, analytics, or related software solutions to healthcare organizations.
• Proficiency using CRM platforms for pipeline management, opportunity tracking, forecasting, and sales activity documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop nationwide territory and account strategies to achieve new-business revenue and growth objectives.
• Prospect and close net-new SaaS business opportunities with healthcare organizations across the United States.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, and strategic account targeting.
• Lead discovery discussions to understand customer challenges, priorities, and outcomes.
• Present value propositions to executive decision-makers and influencers.
• Navigate complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and procurement processes.
• Identify expansion opportunities within existing SaaS relationships aligned with growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to execute growth strategies.
