Job summary

Summerlin Hospital is seeking a Risk Management professional to serve as a liaison between patients and families and the hospital, handling questions and complaints while supporting the Risk Management program. The role involves analyzing risk data and assisting with plans to reduce liability, requiring a healthcare background and strong analytical and communication skills.

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred with two years acute care experience; CPHRM is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years acute care or relevant experience required.
• Certified Professional in healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) preferred.
• Must have working knowledge of healthcare industry.
• Excellent analytical, planning, organizing and troubleshooting skills.
• Superior oral, written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a liaison between patients and/or patients’ families and the hospital.
• Receives, investigates and responds to patient questions, concerns or complaints.
• Assists with the implementation of the Risk Management plan and analyzes data to reduce risk and liability.
