Job summary

The Valley Health System in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a Manager of Risk Management for Summerlin Hospital to lead the Patient Safety-Risk Management Program and support performance improvement initiatives across the hospital. You will partner with the Director to strengthen risk management practices in acute care.

Bachelor’s degree is required with 1–3 years of clinical or risk management experience; CPHRM is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University in related field required.
• One (1) to Three (3) years’ clinical experience or Risk Management experience required.
• Certified Professional in healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) preferred.
• Knowledge of the Joint Commission Standards, Centers of Medicare Conditions of Participation, Nevada acute care regulations, and the functions of the Nevada Department of Public Health.

Responsibilities

• Lead the hospital's Patient Safety-Risk Management Program in partnership with the Director of Risk Management.
• Support and implement performance improvement and patient safety initiatives across the organization.
• Contribute to regulatory compliance and risk reduction efforts within the hospital.
