Job summary

Spring Valley Hospital, part of The Valley Health System, seeks a Risk Management professional to liaise between patients and the hospital and help implement risk-reduction plans. The role focuses on investigating patient concerns and supporting the Risk Management program across the campus in southwest Las Vegas.

The position requires a Baccalaureate Degree (preferred) and two years acute care or relevant experience, with a CP HRM certification preferred and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Education: Baccalaureate Degree preferred.
• Experience: Two Years Acute Care Or Relevant Experience Required.
• Technical Skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• License/Certification: CPHRM preferred.
• Other: Must have working knowledge of healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a liaison between patients and/or patients’ families and the hospital.
• Responsible for receiving, investigating and responding to patient questions, concerns or complaints.
• Assist with the implementation of the Risk Management plan and review risk management data to reduce risk and liability.
