Summerlin Hospital is seeking a risk management liaison to receive, investigate, and respond to patient questions and complaints. The role involves supporting the Risk Management plan and analyzing data to reduce risk and liability.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree, 2 years acute care experience, and proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; CPHRM is preferred. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years acute care or relevant experience required.
• Certified Professional in healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) preferred.
• Computer proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Must have working knowledge of healthcare industry.
• Possess strong customer service skills/interpersonal interactions; ability to handle difficult and angry people constructively.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a liaison between patients and/or patients’ families and the hospital; receive, investigate and respond to patient questions, concerns or complaints.
• Assist with implementation of the Risk Management plan.
• Review and analyze risk management data; assist Director with developing and implementing plans to reduce risk and liability.
