Job summary

Victor Care Network is seeking a Revenue Accountant to support agency-wide special funding revenue accounting under the Revenue Manager. The role focuses on receivables, invoicing, accruals, and maintaining accurate data across programs and counties.

Responsibilities include setup of new clients, cash reconciliations, and cross-team collaboration to ensure correct reimbursements and reporting. The position requires Excel proficiency and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; 4 years' related accounting experience may substitute.
• Experience with computerized accounting systems and intermediate Excel knowledge.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple locations and divisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, listening and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communications network with programs/counties to facilitate receivable activities and aging reporting.
• Coordinate invoicing/receivable systems; prepare invoices and document audits.
• Setup new clients in accounting software and process monthly revenue accruals.
• Validate billing data and ensure proper reimbursements with counties and foster parents.
• Manage cash deposits, AR sub-ledger data, and follow up on short/overpayments.
• Prepare journal entries and coordinate refunds with AP; update unit/billing reports.
• Ensure cost reports reflect in GL; maintain SOPs and train staff on reporting.
