Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college credits or degree preferred.
• Experience in insurance verification or prior authorizations is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is beneficial.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Internet applications).
• Self-motivated with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for patients, caregivers, referral sources, and healthcare providers needing equipment repairs.
• Receive and coordinate repair requests by phone and in person with professionalism and empathy.
• Schedule service appointments and coordinate repairs with technicians and internal departments.
• Create and maintain accurate repair orders, customer records, and service documentation.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain required authorizations when applicable.
• Process payments, purchase orders, and repair-related documentation.
• Communicate repair status updates and provide exceptional customer support throughout the service process.
• Collaborate with technicians, warehouse staff, billing, and customer service to ensure repairs are completed accurately.
