Job summary

Highmark Inc. is offering a Summer 2027 Reimbursement Analyst Undergraduate Internship to develop hands-on experience in data operations, reimbursement processes, and business analysis within the PPRO team.

You will help design and maintain master data infrastructure, work with experts, and contribute to data-driven improvements. The program provides exposure to healthcare data management, reporting, and operational efficiency projects, with mentorship and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
Pursuing a degree in business or technical disciplines as listed in Preferred Qualifications.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders in planning assignments and resolving issues.
Under supervision, provide entry-level professional services aligned with day-to-day objectives and receive guidance.
Participate in projects to develop professional skills and expertise relevant to the organization.
Assist in planning and implementing unit projects and initiatives within area of expertise.
Conduct research and reporting with recommendations or alternative proposals for action as requested by management.
Engage in related studies or enrichment programs aligned with operating unit objectives.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
