Highmark Inc. is offering a Summer 2027 Reimbursement Analyst Undergraduate Internship to gain practical experience in data operations, reimbursement processes, and business analysis within the PPRO team.

Interns will help design, develop, and document master data infrastructure, collaborate with SMEs, Data Professionals, and leaders, and contribute to operational efficiencies and reporting initiatives.

Qualifications

• Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.

Responsibilities

• Supporting day-to-day reimbursement operations, conducting data research and analysis, assisting with reporting and documentation activities, mapping and evaluating business processes, supporting technical and process documentation efforts, participating in projects and initiatives, and providing recommendations that support operational and strategic objectives.
• Through mentorship, project-based work, and cross-functional collaboration, interns will develop valuable analytical, technical, communication, and business skills that support future careers in healthcare operations and data‑driven business environments.
