Job summary

Highmark Health is offering a Summer 2027 Reimbursement Analyst Undergraduate Internship to support data operations, reimbursement processes, and business analysis within the PPRO team. Interns will help design, develop, maintain and document master data infrastructure, working with SMEs and data professionals to ensure data flows across systems.

Qualifications

• Full or part‑time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, MIS, Healthcare Administration, Computer Information Technology, or related.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients in planning assignments and resolving day‑to‑day operational problems.
• Under supervision, provide entry‑level professional services to day‑to‑day operating objectives with guidance from senior personnel.
• Undertake and participate in projects and programs to develop professional skills and expertise.
• Participate in planning and implementing unit projects and initiatives within area of expertise and ability.
• Conduct research and reporting inclusive of recommendations or proposals for action as requested by management.
• Undertake related studies or enrichment programs as appropriate to the operating unit.
• Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.
