Community Health Systems, Inc. (CHSI) is seeking a Referral Coordinator to collaborate with Providers and a multidisciplinary team to coordinate referrals and related paperwork. Notifies patients of referral status and ensures documentation is handled per policy.

Responsibilities include processing all referral forms, scheduling follow-up treatment, and maintaining accurate EHR records to support timely referrals and quality of care.

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent, medical office administration preferred.
• Experience in healthcare and health insurance eligibility is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Process referrals in the EHR and coordinate with outside organizations per guidelines.
• Notify patients of referral status and appointment details.
• Ensure all referral documents are complete and routed correctly.
• Schedule follow-up treatment in accordance with policy.
• Document communications in the EHR and monitor timeliness.
