Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Recruiting Assistant in Peoria, IL to support recruitment advertising, process coordination, and onboarding for new hires. You will manage applications, schedule interviews, conduct verifications, and serve as the initial point of contact on the switchboard.

Ideal candidates bring at least two years in healthcare office settings, strong computer skills, and familiarity with onboarding or recruitment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of healthcare office experience.
• Basic proficiency with computers and office software.
• Preferred onboarding or recruitment experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment advertising, including creating and posting job openings and the use of internet recruiting tools.
• Coordinate the application process, including telephone and internet responses, application scheduling and interviewing.
• Conduct employment verification and reference checks and assist with coordinating background investigations when needed.
• Coordinate the new hire onboarding process.
• Assist in the operation of the switchboard or telephone system to receive incoming calls and provide professional, helpful first point of contact.
