Job summary

The role focuses on ensuring retention compliance, purging records, and coordinating with EMR entry as applicable, supporting custody and patient-care operations within the DOC system.

Qualifications

• Experience with modern office equipment and basic office tasks.
• Experience with computer operations, digital recording systems, and/or software implementations.
• Experience establishing and maintaining complex records, filing and workflow systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify, retrieve, review and prepare paper healthcare records for proper destruction according to retention rules.
• Purge healthcare records and conduct audits to ensure accurate entry into the EMR when applicable.
• Track and manage paper healthcare records in coordination with the EMR system.
