Santa Rosa Behavioral Healthcare Hospital (SRBHH) is seeking a Purchasing Manager to coordinate supply procurement, distribution, and inventory for patient care. You will work with hospital leadership to set PAR levels, manage contracts, and ensure timely stocking and documentation of deliveries.

The role requires hospital experience, proficiency with office tools and inventory software, and strong data/tracking skills to support senior leadership in cost-saving procurement decisions.

Qualifications

• Hospital/healthcare experience is strongly preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with inventory management software.
• Strong communication with internal/external stakeholders.
• Ability to collect, track and summarize data for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Maintains electronic inventory of supplies for patient care.
• Manage PAR levels, lead times, and stock levels with hospital leadership.
• Collaborate with leaders to determine supply needs and inventory levels.
• Create and manage vendor contracts and purchase orders.
• Stock supplies daily to patient care and support areas.
• Receive and document deliveries accurately.
• Prepare outgoing shipments with required documents.
• Issue stock to requestors promptly and handle special requests.
• Monitor supply usage and report changes to supervisor.
• Support risk management for supply contracts and cost control.
