Job summary

Dallas Behavioral Healthcare Hospital is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to manage hospital supply orders and ensure all departments are fully stocked. The role includes supplier coordination, cost control, and maintaining inventory accuracy to support a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualified candidates will have a related degree, healthcare or supply chain experience, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 1 year healthcare experience preferred.
• 2 years of experience in supply chain preferred.
• Driver's license required.
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background test.

Responsibilities

• Manage expenses by maintaining an accurate log of expenditures.
• Establish an inventory maintenance process for hospital-wide use.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound traffic to maximize cost-effectiveness.
• Provide supply chain insights to executives and department heads.
• Develop and maintain client relationships with service excellence.
• Leverage vendor relations to negotiate best rates.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
