Job summary

Sutter Health is seeking a procurement support specialist to manage service and supply purchases, quotes, requisitions and invoice resolution within the Northern California footprint. You will respond to service tickets, maintain purchase orders, and help drive process improvements while building strong vendor relationships.

This is a full-time, non-exempt role with 40 hours weekly, and a competitive pay range with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of recent relevant experience.
• Knowledge of state and local sales tax laws.
• Familiarity with healthcare supply chain and equipment.
• Customer service skills with requisitions and purchase orders.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem solving and collaboration.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for service and supply purchases and quotes (RFQ).
• Ensure timely procurement from requisition to payment processing, including invoice resolution.
• Respond to and resolve service tickets, meeting customer service levels.
• Foster process improvements and participate in programs/tools for high performance.
• Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with customers to identify additional services.
