Job summary

Independent Living Systems (ILS) seeks a Provider Services Advocate in Miami to act as a liaison between healthcare providers and the organization. You will assist with claims, billing, credentialing, and provider inquiries, ensuring timely responses and high satisfaction.

The role emphasizes accurate records, collaboration with claims/credentialing/provider relations teams, and communication of policy updates. A strong background in customer service and MS Office is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years experience in customer service.
• Knowledge of automated systems and technical adeptness.
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
• Experience with Medicaid/Medicare or commercial insurers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for provider inquiries regarding claims, billing, credentialing and provider services.
• Investigate and resolve provider issues by coordinating with internal teams.
• Maintain accurate records of provider interactions and resolutions.
• Communicate policy updates and procedural changes to providers.
• Identify trends and suggest process improvements to enhance provider experience.
