Job summary

Hawai'i Health Systems Corporation seeks a Provider Talent Acquisition Liaison to plan, coordinate, and execute recruitment strategies for qualified healthcare providers across the Kaua'i Region. The role manages full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, site visits, offers, onboarding, and housing logistics, with travel as needed.

Requires strong organization, independent judgment, and collaboration with leadership, medical staff, and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, Healthcare Admin, or related field (or substitution).
• 2–5 years in talent acquisition, preferably healthcare.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement recruitment plans to meet provider staffing needs.
• Collaborate with leadership to forecast workforce demands and build talent pipelines.
• Source, engage, and maintain relationships with physician and provider candidates.
• Represent the organization at recruitment events, conferences, and career fairs.
• Coordinate and manage recruitment site visits including travel, lodging, and scheduling.
• Conduct candidate screenings, coordinate interviews, and facilitate communication during selection.
• Present offers and support contract negotiations.
• Manage locum tenens agreements and third-party recruitment relationships.
• Create and coordinate onboarding schedules and requirements for new providers.
• Review invoices for locum tenens and contracted providers; ensure accuracy.
• Maintain compliance with recruitment policies, regulatory requirements, and data accuracy.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and stakeholders to align recruitment efforts.
• Coordinate clinical rotations for medical and advanced practice students and residents.
• Assist with orientation, training, and workflow improvements within the department.
• Ensure HIPAA, safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards.
