Project Manager / Senior Project Manager / Project Executive – Healthcare Construction

The Opportunity

A leading national general contractor is expanding its Healthcare Construction division in Nashville, TN and is seeking experienced construction professionals across Project Manager, Senior Project Manager and Project Executive levels.

This is an opportunity to join an established healthcare construction team delivering complex projects throughout the Nashville market and surrounding region.

We are interested in speaking with construction professionals who have successfully delivered hospitals, medical centers, clinical facilities, healthcare campuses, specialty care facilities and other technically complex healthcare projects.

The level of the position will be determined by experience, with opportunities available from Project Manager through senior project leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on seniority, responsibilities will include:

• Lead healthcare construction projects from preconstruction and project startup through final closeout.
• Develop and execute project business plans, budgets, schedules, logistics and phasing strategies.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers and other project stakeholders.
• Coordinate closely with preconstruction, field supervision and project teams.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, buyout, contracts, change orders and performance.
• Oversee project financials, including cost tracking, forecasting, projections, billing and collections.
• Lead project scheduling meetings and ensure milestones and critical-path activities remain on track.
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, material procurement and long-lead equipment.
• Manage architectural, structural, civil, mechanical and electrical scopes.
• Ensure implementation of project-specific quality control and safety requirements.
• Coordinate permitting, inspections, mobilization and interaction with relevant agencies.
• Participate in OAC and client progress meetings and provide regular project reporting.
• Manage project closeout, final accounting and turnover documentation.
• Develop strong relationships with clients, design teams, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers and other junior team members.
• At Senior PM and Project Executive level, provide broader leadership across multiple projects and project teams while maintaining responsibility for client relationships, financial performance and overall project delivery.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
• Healthcare construction experience required.
• Experience working for a reputable General Contractor or Construction Manager.
• Strong understanding of healthcare construction operations and technically complex project environments.
• Experience managing multiple construction disciplines, including architectural, civil, structural and MEP scopes.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, scheduling, cost management, change management and subcontractor administration.
• Ability to communicate effectively with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors and field teams.
• Strong commercial, organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with construction project management software and financial reporting systems.
• Proven leadership capabilities, particularly for Senior Project Manager and Project Executive candidates.
