Westchester Medical Center Health Network is seeking a Process Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence across multiple departments. You will act as an internal management consultant, leading projects from inception through implementation while collaborating with clinical and administrative leaders to reach consensus and deliver measurable improvement for patient care.

The role requires experience in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or healthcare transformation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
Lean/Six Sigma Certification or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience in healthcare management or improvement science with analytical training.
Excellent written and verbal communication; strong presentation skills.

Responsabilités

Serve as change agent and transformation leader to improve operational processes.
Scope improvement initiatives, create project plans, and capture outcomes with metrics.
Oversee data collection, analysis, and visualization to support decision-making.
Apply queuing theory, simulation modeling, and data-driven approaches to service delivery.
Collaborate with leaders to ensure high quality patient services and efficient resource use.
Facilitate teams to design and implement process improvements using IE principles.
