AltaPointe Health seeks a Practice Manager to oversee daily operations of the medical office in Mobile, AL. You will lead front-desk workflows, supervise staff, and implement quality initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and provider efficiency.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 3+ years in medical practice management, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHR systems (Athena/Avatar a plus). Regular reporting and resource allocation are part of the job.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum three years of experience managing a medical practice.
• Thorough knowledge of outpatient check-in to check-out processes.
• Basic knowledge of billing is preferred but not required.
• Proficient with computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Record (EHR) Systems.
• Experience with Athena and Avatar EHRs is a plus.

• Maintain efficient and accurate day-to-day operations of the medical office.
• Train and educate all supervised employees to ensure high customer service and financial operations.
• Implement quality initiatives to improve provider and patient satisfaction.
• Set operational checks to ensure accuracy of front-desk patient collections.
• Manage telephone triage, scheduling, registration, and patient flow to enhance satisfaction and productivity.
• Provide recommendations and follow up actions for operational inefficiencies.
• Lead team members with professional management and best practices.
• Assist with strategic planning and resource allocation analysis.
• Ensure leadership is aware of problems or changes and take proactive measures.
• Provide weekly and monthly reporting of program standards and recommendations.
