Job summary

USA Health in Mobile, AL is seeking an experienced operations leader to oversee non-provider staff and daily department operations across clinical and administrative areas.

You will partner with the Director of Operations to address gaps, manage staffing, onboarding, scheduling, evaluations, and compliance with HIPAA, safety, and regulatory standards, while monitoring metrics and budgets to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business or a healthcare related field is required.
• Group practice experience preferred.
• Directly related experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
• Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage all departmental non-provider staff and day-to-day operations.
• Collaborate with Director of Operations on gaps in daily operations.
• Supervise scheduling, staffing, training, and evaluations.
• Oversee onboarding, postings, and candidate selection.
• Monitor patient care metrics, revenue cycle, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain HIPAA, safety, and other hospital regulatory requirements.
• Assist with budgeting and financial reporting.
• Communicate with hospital leaders and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure call coverage and department liaison with answering service.
