Charlton Family Medicine in Melrose, NY is seeking a full-time Practice Manager to oversee daily operations, payroll, and staff development. You will coordinate patient flow, registrations, triage, and referrals while managing value-based care efforts and ensuring compliant coding and billing practices.

The role requires strong leadership, confidentiality, and superior communication skills to support a high-performing administrative team in a physician practice environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health or business administration preferred.
• RN/LPN with clinical management experience preferred.
• BSN with NYS RN license.
• Five years medical office experience including three years in supervision.
• Strong communication and patient service standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional discretion.
• Solid interpersonal and cross‑departmental collaboration skills.
• Strong knowledge of medical billing and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day office operations and scheduling.
• Coordinate patient registration, triage, appointments, and referrals.
• Lead value-based care initiatives (e.g., NCQA PCMH, EPC).
• Organize training and staff development programs.
• Prepare payroll accurately and timely.
• Help ensure accurate coding and charge entry.
• Collaborate with HR on recruitment and benefits.
• Generate reports on productivity and QA metrics.
