Job summary

August Health is seeking a Customer Systems Analyst in San Francisco to configure, maintain, and optimize our care platform. You’ll support new implementations, data conversions, and document digitization while aligning with Customer Success and Implementation teams to deliver value for live customers.

Ideal candidates bring 2–4 years in a systems/BD/tech-ops role, comfort with JSON-like data, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a systems analyst, business analyst, implementation, or similar role.
• Experience with complex software platforms where settings and data drive end-user behavior.
• Familiarity with ticketing/project management systems such as Linear, Intercom, Jira, or Zendesk.

Responsibilities

• Execute configuration changes across Clinical, Billing, and Move-Ins products for new implementations and existing customers.
• Support data conversions, document digitization, and other setup activities to onboard customers.
• Partner with Customer Success Managers to optimize live environments and roll out new features.
• Understand how configuration hierarchies translate to end-user experiences.
• Evaluate impact of changes on workflows and resident data before implementing.
• Validate configurations for accuracy and communicate progress using tickets.
• Collaborate with Implementation Managers to translate requirements into actionable work.
• Ask clarifying questions and push back when a better approach exists.
• Manage priorities across multiple implementations and internal initiatives.
