Job summary

GBMC HealthCare is seeking a Performance Improvement & Innovation Specialist to design, deploy, and integrate evidence-based methodologies across the health system, fostering an organizational learning culture of continuous improvement.

You will develop, implement, and evaluate system-wide PI&I training and learning opportunities, supporting major strategic projects and targeted interventions to reduce length of stay and improve quality while maintaining fidelity to the PI&I framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in nursing, public health, or healthcare-related field.
• Active RN licensure preferred; patient safety or LEAN certifications a plus.
• Minimum of five years in clinical and process improvement roles in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evaluate strategic projects to improve quality and safety.
• Develop and deliver organizational training on PI&I systems.
• Collaborate with leaders to mentor teams and sustain improvements.
• Utilize data to monitor progress and drive results.
