Job summary

MU Health Care is seeking a Performance Improvement Professional to design, implement, and sustain health care delivery programs that improve safety, efficiency, and patient-centered care. This role works with patient care leaders to align projects with system strategy and deliver measurable improvements.

You will lead cross-functional PI initiatives, review literature on best practices, develop change strategies, and train teams.

Qualifications

• Master's in nursing, engineering, health management, or related field, or approved Lean/Six Sigma/CPHQ/CPPS certification.
• Minimum 3 years in patient safety, quality improvement, or supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead PI activities with cross-department teams to meet MU Health Care system goals.
• Review literature and assess feasibility for immediate adoption.
• Develop and implement process changes and training plans.
• Establish evaluation plans and deliver quarterly performance reports.
• Share improvements through publications or conference presentations.
• May perform unit/department duties as outlined in department documents.
