Job summary

eClerx LLC is seeking a Payroll Analyst to support payroll operations across a healthcare environment in Raleigh and Charlotte, NC. You will audit, balance, and validate payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure regulatory compliance while coordinating with Payroll Specialists, HR, Benefits, and Finance.

You will work with Workday Payroll and UKG/Kronos Timekeeping, participate in testing and system changes, and maintain accurate employee records. A 5+ year U.S.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience with automated U.S. payroll systems in a high-volume environment.
• Strong end-to-end U.S. payroll knowledge including taxes, deductions, and benefits.
• Experience supporting unionized payroll environments and healthcare payroll preferred.
• Experience balancing, reconciling, investigating payroll discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Process and audit bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and special payroll runs, including data validation, balancing, reconciliation, exception review, and resolution of discrepancies.
• Administer timekeeping activities in UKG/Kronos, review schedules, hours, overtime, and leave-related issues.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and investigate discrepancies involving paychecks, taxes, deductions, deposits, and leave balances.
• Perform payroll reconciliations, review reports and support audits, month-end and year-end activities.
• Support payroll tax and garnishment administration, including coordination with ADP for filings.
• Maintain accurate employee records and validate data changes in Workday; support system updates and improvements.
