Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Healthcare Merchant Payments Sales Consultant to develop new business and expand relationships with healthcare practices, delivering consultative payment solutions across in-person, online, and mobile channels.

You will partner with Healthcare Relationship Managers, Treasury Management, and product teams to design tailored strategies that improve revenue, streamline payments, and strengthen client bank relationships, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Five or more years of experience in merchant acquiring, payment processing, treasury management, financial services, healthcare technology, or consultative B2B sales.
• Demonstrated experience developing new business and managing a sales pipeline.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end payments ecosystem.
• Ability to travel within the assigned market or nationally (≈25%+).

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a strong pipeline of new healthcare merchant payment opportunities.
• Lead consultative discovery conversations to understand client payment workflows.
• Assess the client’s payments ecosystem including gateways, POS, card/ACH acceptance, tokenization, and reporting.
• Design and present tailored payment strategies to improve revenue and cash flow.
• Coordinate with product, pricing, underwriting, risk, and implementation teams for a smooth onboarding.
