Job summary

U.S. Bank, through Elavon, is seeking a Healthcare Merchant Payments Sales Consultant to develop new business with healthcare practices and related organizations across multiple markets.

You will collaborate with Business Banking, Healthcare Relationship Managers, Treasury Management, product specialists, implementation teams, and other internal stakeholders to assess each client’s end-to-end payment environment and connect business needs with the right U.S. Bank and Elavon capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Five or more years of experience in merchant acquiring, payment processing, treasury management, financial services, healthcare technology, or consultative B2B sales.
• Demonstrated experience developing new business, managing a sales pipeline, and navigating multi-stakeholder opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a strong pipeline of new healthcare merchant payment opportunities through self-sourced prospecting, referrals, portfolio reviews, and partnerships.
• Lead consultative discovery conversations to understand how clients accept, process, fund, reconcile, secure, and report payments across channels.
• Assess client’s broader payments ecosystem including gateways, POS, card/ACH, tokenization, funding, reconciliation, and data security.
• Evaluate healthcare workflows such as patient collections, pre-service and post-visit payments, payment plans, and EHR/EMR integrations.
• Design and present tailored payment strategies to support revenue growth and improve client experience and banking relationship.
