Job summary

STV is seeking a Healthcare Assistant Project Manager for our PM/CM team in NYC and Long Island. The role represents the owner on capital programs, facility upgrades, renovations for healthcare facilities, and leads projects from planning through closeout in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities include guiding the project team, managing budgets and schedules, ensuring quality and safety, and maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management.
• Demonstrated history of managing minimum of $10 million healthcare construction types.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage at all levels.
• Ability to supervise people including recruitment, training, performance management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including MS Project and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PM in leading cross functional healthcare projects with demanding resource requirements and complexity.
• Monitor design and construction activities to ensure compliance with contracts and quality standards.
• Forecast and manage project budgets, cash flow, and cost estimates; review POs, changes, and invoices.
• Develop and maintain project schedules to meet objectives.
• Maintain client, consultant, contractor, and vendor relationships and manage conflict resolution.
