Job summary

Prestige Hospital System is seeking a Healthcare Operations Supervisor to join our Epic Grand Central/Prelude team. This on-site/remote hybrid role supports LA region with a focus on Charge RTE and Prelude workstreams, solving complex workflow challenges and optimizing applications.

You will troubleshoot, design, test, and deploy new modules, manage tickets and projects, and provide go-live and upgrade support while participating in an on-call rotation every seven weeks.

Qualifications

• Must have Grand Central and Prelude Certifications (RTE certification a plus).
• Minimum 4 years of experience as an Epic Grand Central/Prelude analyst.
• At least 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration with business owners, vendors and ISS team members.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize Epic applications within portfolio.
• Design, build, test, and support new modules and applications.
• Develop deep knowledge of Epic Grand Central/Prelude workflows and policies.
• Lead Charge RTE and Prelude work for new requests and workflow optimization.

In this exciting role, you will be working primarily remotely, with occasional onsite visits to our Los Angeles location, as needed for support. The position will commence on November 2, 2026, and run through to October 29, 2027, to cover a Leave of Absence. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm PT, with after-hours support as needed. You will also be on-call every 7 weeks. The bill rate for this position is $125.

As a Consulting Epic Grand Central/Prelude Analyst, you will be reporting to an Application Manager and will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing existing software applications. You will also design, build, test, and support new applications and modules within your portfolio and/or service line.

You will be expected to achieve an in-depth knowledge of the software application and operational workflows, as well as understand the policies, procedures, and constraints of the clinical or business operation supported by the application.

Your focus will be on Charge RTE and Prelude build related to implementing new requests, optimizing current workflows, and providing input as needed for integration projects across the health system. Your scope of work will include tickets, projects, go-live support, upgrade support, and on-call rotation every 7 weeks.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have Grand Central and Prelude Certifications (RTE certification is a plus). You should have a minimum of 4 years of experience as an Epic Grand Central/Prelude analyst.

In addition to this, you should have at least 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry.

You must be a problem solver who can work collaboratively with business owners, vendors, and other ISS team members to evaluate and recommend solutions to complex problems and requests. You should be comfortable working remotely and have the ability to travel to our Los Angeles location as needed.
