INSTITUTES FOR BEHAVIOR RESOURCES INC (IBR) is seeking a Healthcare Operations Specialist for REACH Health Services in Baltimore, MD. You will provide front-office support, coordinate workflows, verify insurance, maintain patient data in the EHR, and assist with billing and claims.

The role is full-time, on-site, 40 hours/week, with a schedule of 7am–3pm. Salary ranges from $21–$28/hour, with benefits including health, PTO, and tuition reimbursement. Vaccination and background checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of administrative, accounting, medical billing, collections, or healthcare operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors to create a positive clinic experience.
• Coordinate front office and clinic workflows as a communication hub.
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits and authorizations.
• Maintain patient demographics and insurance data in EHR.
• Identify and resolve insurance-related issues affecting care or reimbursement.
• Educate patients about coverage and billing responsibilities.
• Assist with claims, posting, reconciliation, and patient billing.
• Maintain accurate medical records in the EHR.
• Manage scheduling, reminders, and intake materials.
• Support a safe, organized environment and protect privacy.
