Job summary

Baptist Health Arkansas is seeking a detail-oriented billing coordination specialist to support centralized billing areas such as Emergency Room, MLA, and Anesthesia. The role requires a Bachelor's in Business Administration or related experience, plus at least 3 years of medical billing/collections and proficiency with medical software.

Day shift, typical weekdays, with 80 hours bi-weekly authorized. Ideal candidates have strong problem-solving and MS Office skills to troubleshoot billing

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent years of experience in related field.
• HS Diploma and/or GED Equivalent.
• At least 3 years billing and collections for a medical practice or physician including ICD-9 and CPT coding.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide support for centralized billing areas including Emergency Room, MLA, and Anesthesia business.
• Assist with troubleshooting software questions related to billing and coding.
• Support accurate ICD-9 and CPT coding within billing processes.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting for billing operations.

Working Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and/or equivalent years of experience in related field. Software support and training experience. Experience in the medical field. Must be detail oriented and be able to troubleshoot software problems and /or questions. Computer Skills, i.e. Medical software and MS Office based applications.

• At least 3 years billing and collections for a medical practice or physician including ICD-9 and CPT coding.

This job will be authorized80.00 hours bi-weekly.
