Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing with master's degree or master's in nursing
- Three years of nursing or health care experience
- BLS certification
- Current clinical license in the state
- Magnet recognized certification
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Emergency Department and support services; oversee workflows and staffing
- Provide guidance and supervision to team members; conduct annual and mid-year reviews and coaching
- Set department goals with leadership; monitor progress and communicate timelines and risks
- Ensure policies meet Joint Commission standards and regulatory requirements; update policies as needed
- Manage patient-centered care coordination across age-specific needs and resources
- Handle escalations and maintain operational excellence across shifts
