Job summary

OrthoMed is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support the Regional Director of Operations in Houston, TX, within a physician anesthesia practice management group based in Addison, Texas. The role focuses on keeping daily operations running smoothly and providing essential administrative support across multiple locations.

You will coordinate calendars, meetings, and communications, while helping identify inefficiencies and support process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in healthcare or operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare management software.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Regional Director of Operations, including calendar management, meeting coordination, coverage grids and correspondence.
• Serve as liaison between regional office, practice locations, and medical staff to ensure effective information flow.
• Assist in identifying operational inefficiencies and support implementation of process improvements.
• Help ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, credentialing processes, and quality assurance standards.
