Job summary

Cain Watters & Associates, LLC is seeking an Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst reporting to the Director of Transaction Success. The role supports underwriting, financial analysis, and value estimation for healthcare and healthcare-adjacent transitions including private practice sales, PE/DSO partnerships, and related opportunities.

You will collaborate with the Deal Team through diligence, LOI, and client communications, focusing on data accuracy and practical recommendations to clients and buyers.

Qualifications

• 2 years valuation, analysis, or relevant experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• A CPA or CPA candidate is preferred

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients to gather the appropriate financial information
• Analyze financial data for trends and anomalies
• Conduct financial and operational analyses related to client transition opportunities
• Assess the economic performance of the client’s practice
• Develop innovative approaches to produce deliverables addressing client questions
• Work with the team to develop financial recommendations based on analysis
