Job summary

Paycom is seeking an experienced Corporate Development Analyst to prepare, analyze and guide the due diligence process for acquisitions from the initial call to the hand-off to Operations. You will work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, IT and Operations to ensure a thorough evaluation and smooth integration.

You will lead project management meetings, coordinate valuation efforts, build pro-forma models, review contracts, and present findings to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from a four-year College or University in Accounting or Finance or related business field and 4 or more years of relevant experience required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Experience in accrual-based accounting and the impact on financials; experience creating and maintaining P&L statements preferred.
• Experience reconciling various financial systems; Microsoft Excel proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and guide the due diligence process for acquisitions from initial call to hand-off to Operations.
• Lead project management meetings for organic growth opportunities and oversee workstreams to completion.
• Participate and analyze valuation and due diligence efforts with internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform financial analyses including review of financial statements and contracts; develop revenue and budget models.
• Prepare and analyze pro-forma and historical financial statements and valuation models for senior management.
• Creation and maintenance of key spreadsheets used in projected statements.
• Review target acquisition contracts and related documents for business terms and expansion constraints.
• Assist senior team members in preparing financial offers based on the financial model.
• Provide status updates to key personnel and coordinate internal diligence meetings.
