Job summary

The Specialty Alliance is seeking an experienced Acquisition Due Diligence Analyst to lead the financial analysis and assessment of potential acquisitions. You will coordinate with internal teams and external advisors from initial contact through LOI and deal hand-off to Operations.

You will build detailed financial models, review statements, contracts and KPIs, and present findings to the Investment Committee. A strong Excel and PowerPoint background is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field and 3–5+ years in healthcare corporate development or private equity.
• Experience in healthcare physician services preferred.
• Fundamental understanding of accrual-based accounting.
• Experience with Quality of Earnings analyses.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate, coordinate, and analyze valuation and due diligence efforts for potential acquisitions between internal decision makers and third party resources.
• Build, maintain, and own complex financial analyses, including review of financial statements, contracts, trends and KPIs.
• Help craft strategic rationale, create geographic market maps, and perform LOI preparation for groups in the pipeline.
• Understand and interpret documents related to physician services and healthcare industries.
• Help manage VDRs and facilitate due diligence with advisors and internal teams.
• Assist organizing a process to gather due diligence data from target practices.
• Serve as the primary liaison across cross-functional diligence workstreams (Financial, Tax, Legal, IT, HR, etc.).
• Establish and coordinate internal diligence meetings with key personnel.
